2011 International Water Carnival Launch in Liuzhou
The 2011 China Liuzhou International Water Carnival will be launched on Oct. 1-5 in Liuzhou, the most important industrial city in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. This great event is sponsored by the municipal government of Liuzhou. During the carnival, 8 large scale interesting cultural activities will be held in the city or the Liu River including: 1. Carnival Parade; 2. Opening Party; 3.Flowery Boats and floats Parade; 4. All-night Music Party; 5. Fine Stage Craft Performance; 6. MinorityFolk Custom and Culture Show; 7. China - ASEAN national raiment Show; 8. award show for the closing cermony. In addition, the Prince of High-altitude, Adil Hoshur is about to show his great stunt by walking on a long steel wire between the Bolong Ta (Bo Dragon Tower) and a mountain.
Getting there
Tourists can fly to Liuzhou from some domestic airports or take trains from some main cities, such as Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Shengzhen, Nanning and Guilin etc.. There are also bus/coach to Liuzhou from the nearby cities or cunties, such as Beihai, Nanning, Guilin, Yangshuo, Sanjiang and Longsheng, and so on.
