The Donba culture of Naxi people has been attractive in the world since it was introduced to the West in the late 19th century. To know something about their garments, artifacts, hieroglyphics, mystic primitive religion, astronomy, literature and art, you will see a cultural Lijiang! And do visit to its beautiful sites and those of Kunming you will be fascinated by this romantic land

Day 1 Arrive In Kunming (D)

Meet your guide at the Kunming Airport, and then transfer to your hotel. Remainder of the day is at your own leisure.

Day 2 Kunming (B, L)

Drive to see the Stone Forest, where the karst landscape is known as one of the world's 10 top stony wonders. Later, drive back to Kunming to experience the locals' real life at the Birds and Flowers Market.

Day 3 Kunming To Lijiang (B, L)
Fly to Lijiang. Upon arrival, you're picked to the hotel. Then, visit the beautiful Lion Hill and the lesser Forbidden City -- Mu's Residence.

Optional night show: Naxi Ancient Music

Day 4 Lijiang (B, L)

Spend the whole day to explore the beautiful Jade Dragon Snow Mountain.

Day 5 Lijiang (B, L)
Enjoy full-day sightseeing of the Black Dragon Pool Park, the Museum of Naxi Dongba Culture, the Baisha Murals, Baisha Village and Shuhe Old Town.

Optional ethnic show: Lishui Jisha

Day 6 Lijiang (B, L)

After breakfast, drive to explore the First Bend of the Yangtze River, Shigu Town and the Tiger Leaping Gorge.

Day 7 Lijiang To Kunming / Exit (B, L)

Take the morning flight to Kunming. End the trip with a visit to the Western Hills and  the Golden Temple.   A departure transfer to Kunming Wujiaba International Airport is provided.
