Tour Overview
The journey of a lifetime from east to west across the heart of China, encompassing all forms of terrain and most of the major sights that this amazing country has to offer.

Day 1 Arrival /Beijing (D)
Upon your arrival at the Beijing Capital International Airport, our local guide and driver will meet you and pick you up to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Hotel: Beijing Harmony Hotel (3-star)

Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)
Have a full-day tour of the Forbidden City, the Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven. In the evening you will enjoy the Beijing Roast Duck Dinner and the Kongfu Show in the Red Theater.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L, D)
Morning tour of the Spirit Way and the Changling Tomb.  Later proceed to visit the Mutianyu Great Wall.

Day 4 Beijing To Urumqi (B, L, D)
Pay a morning visit to the Summer Palace, after lunch transfer to Urumqi and cheek into the hotel. Hotel: Xijiang Civil Aviation Hotel (3-star)

Day 5 Urumqi To Kashgar (B, L, D)
Take a morning flight to Kashgar. After checking in the hotel, visit the very traditional bazaar in Central Asia–the Sunday Market. Hotel: Qiniwak Hotel (3-star)

Day 6 Kashgar To Urumqi (B, L, D)
Visit the Id Kah Mosque, the Abakh Khoja Tomb and the Old Street. Then take a flight to Urumqi. Hotel: Xijiang Civil Aviation Hotel (3-star)

Day 7 Urumqi To Turpan (B)
Today, you will transfer to Turpan by motorcoach (about 3 hours). The rest of the day is on your own arrangement to explore the mysterious city. Hotel: Turpan Hotel (3-star)

Day 8 Turpan (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive to explore the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda.

Day 9 Turpan To Dunhuang (B, L, D)
Make an excursion to the Gaochang Ruins, the Bezekelik Thousand Buddha Caves and the Flaming Hill. Take an overnight soft sleeper train to Dunhuang. Hotel: International Hotel Dunhuang(3-star)

Day 10 Dunhuang (B, L, D)
Upon you reach Dunhuang, you are escorted to have breakfast. After that, pay a visit to the Mogao Grottoes and the Dunhuang Museum.

Day 11 Dunhuang To Xian (B, L, D)
After breakfast you will experience a short camel-riding along the Echoing-Sand Dune to get to the Crescent Lake. After the exploration, you will be escorted to the airport for the flight to Xi'an. Hotel: Garden Hotel Xian (3-star)

Day 12 Xian (B, L, D)
Morning visit the eighth wonder of the world -- the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of the Qinshihuang emperor, then drive back to downtown of Xi'an to have lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Great Mosque. In the evening, enjoy the wonderful Tang Dynasty Dinner Show.

Day 13 Xi'an (B, L, D)
Full-day visit to the Temple of Eight Immortals, Shaanxi Provincial Historical Museum, the Ancient City Wall and Bell Tower.

Day 14 Depart Xi'an (B)
After breakfast, be picked up to visit the Hangyangling Museum (aka Hangyangling Mausoleum) and the Shaanxi cave dwellings in a traditional village. Later transfer to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
