11-Day Scenic Xinjiang Tour

Tour Overview
The ultimate journey for nature lovers who want to experience Xinjiang's complete spectrum from outstanding natural reserves to boundless grasslands, exceptional lakes, mountains, major historic sites and a plethora of animals.

Day 1 Arrive in Urumqi (D)
Meet your guide at Urumqi Airport and then transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Urumqi to Turpan (B, L)
Transfer to Turpan and enjoy a full-day exploration in the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda (aka Emin Minaret).

Day 3 Turpan to Urumqi (B, L)
Today, we make an excursion to the mystical Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, the ancient Gaochang Ruins and the legendary Flaming Hill. Later, drive back to Urumqi.

Day 4 Urumqi to Kanas (B, L, D)
Free explore Urumqi until you are escorted to the airport for the flight to Kanas. Check into the hotel.

Day 5 Kanas Lake (B, L, D)
Drive to see Kanas Lake en route visit the Crouching Dragon Bay, Moon Bay and Duck Lake. Also walk on to the top of the hill for overviewing the lake.

Day 6 Kanas Lake (B, L)
Trip to Hemu, where we will enjoy the beautiful grassland scenery and pay a visit to a mysterious Tuvinian's village.

Day 7 Kanas-Urumqi-Yining (B, L)
Take the morning flight to Urumqi and then transfer to Yining. Afternoon visit Yili River Bridge, Huining Ancient Town and old town.

Day 8 Yining (B, L)
Make an excursion to the Sayram Lake, the Fruits Valley and the Huo Er Guo Si Port between China and Kazakstan.

Day 9 Yining to Bayinbuluke (B, L)
Discover the beautiful and varied scenery of Bayinbuluke Grassland on a leisurely drive through the picturesque Nalati Grassland.

Day 10 Bayinbuluke - Yining - Urumqi (B, L)
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Bayinbuluke Grassland and the Swan Lake Natural Reserve. Drive back to Yining and then take a flight to Urumqi.

Day 11 Departure from Urumqi (B)
Be escorted to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
