5-Day Harbin Winter Adventure

Tour Overview
A great China winter adventure! Lodging at the farmer’s hotel, skiing in the vast resort, sitting on the sleds drawn by dogs or horses, having chance to take the snowmobile to the beautiful countryside, landing to the world-famous ice carving island, rambling in the marvelous ice lantern park, caging yourself in a special car and driving in the Siberian Tiger Park…the tour will be unforgettable in your lifetime!

Day 1 Arrival/Harbin (D)

Take the morning flight from Beijing (or Shanghai) to Harbin at am. Be met at the Harbin airport and transferred to the hotel. In the afternoon, pay a visit to the Saint Sofia Church and the Central Street. After dinner, you will be heading to Ice Lantern Exhibition. The magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures have literally made the place an icy fairyland. Check into Gfour Holiday Hotel (3-star)

Day 2 Harbin/Mudanjiang (B, L, D)

Get up early and drive about 6 hours to the beautiful Xue Xiang (China's Snow Town). Upon arriving there, we will have lunch in a farmer's restaurant, and then take part in some snow activities (e.g. take the horse/dog drawn sled etc.). Enjoy dinner and the beautiful countryside night scene. Stay overnight in the farmer's family hotel or a local  hotel, which offers very comfortable Kangtou (brick bed warmed by a fire underneath in Northern China). This is a special exerience!!! 

Day 3 Mudanjiang/Harbin (B, L, D)

Get up in the early morning. After breakfast, if the weather is good, take the snowmobile to Yangcaoshan Mountain, where you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise and snowscape. Take snowmobile back to Xue Xiang. After lunch, drive back to Harbin.  --Gfour Holiday Hotel (3-star)

Day 4 Harbin (B, L, D)

In the morning, visit the Flood Control Monument and then take part in some ice activities. After lunch, drive to the Sun Island Park to enjoy the enormous ice sculptures. Then proceed to the Siberian Tiger Park, where you will be caged in a specially protected bus to visit the tigers. In the evening, we will get lost in the Ice and Snow World-the highlight of the tour and the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival which operates each night and features illuminated full size buildings made from blocks of ice.  --Gfour Holiday Hotel (3-star)

Day 5 Harbin (B)

After breakfast, you will be picked up to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
