Tour Overview
The festival is family fun you won't want to miss! From January 5 to February 29, 2012, come experience the world's largest ice and snow festival in beautiful Harbin City. For two months, the Ice and Snow World morph into an enormous playground! The goers can take in shows, watch many ice wonders or enjoy activities galore, including giant ice buildings, snow sculptures, fantastic ice lanterns, ice tunnels, ice slides, sliding, and more!

Day 1 Arrival/Harbin (D)

Meet your guide and driver at the airport, and then check into your hotel to have a rest. After dinner, we will visit the highlights of this tour as well as the highlights of the Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival -  Ice and Snow World - an interesting site which operates each night and features illuminated full size buildings made from blocks of ice. Check into Wanda Holiday Express Hotel (4-star)

Day 2 Harbin (B, L, D)

After breakfast, visit the Saint Sofia Church and the Central Street, and then take part in some ice activities (e.g. take the horse/dog drawn sled etc.). After lunch, drive to the Sun Island Park to enjoy the enormous ice sculptures. Then proceed to the Siberian Tiger Park, where you will be caged in a specially protected bus to visit the tigers. After dinner, you will be heading to Ice Lantern Exhibition. The magical and extraordinary ice lanterns and sculptures have literally made the place an icy fairyland. Stay overnight at Wanda Holiday Express Hotel (4-star)

Day 3 Harbin/Departure (B, L)

In the morning, visit Heilongjiang Provincial Museum and the highest steel tower in Asia - the Dragon Tower. The rest of the morning is your free time, you can take part in some interesting ice acitivties, such as ice sloping, ice boating or watch winter swimming performance etc (not expensive, at your own expense).  After lunch, your guide and driver will say "Zaijian" (good-bye) to you at the airport.

Notes:

1) The hotel of this trip is just recommended, we will arrange other similar hotel in the light of actual conditions, such as personal request, occupation or rise in price and etc..

2) If you travel with kids, we suggest replacing the Dragon Tower with  Harbin Polarland. This place is a real paradise of your kids, which offers many wonderful performances by the lovely polar animals. Just tell our travel consultant when inquire this trip.

It was a very nice trip and not so cold as we expected!!

The whole group had a lot of fun - especially the kids !!

James did a great job. We got half of the room keys in the bus before we reached the hotel, the rest when we arrived in the lobby. People were very happy about this. They could change clothes and then enjoy the trip.

Finally it was a very very nice trip. Every member and the kids enjoyed it so much. So thanks again James - you did such a good job - and everybody liked your jokes!! We had a really great time together. Wei - now I guess you missed something not to be with us - and you are right (haha)

Hi Fisher, it´s really nice to hear about you and the way you spent holidays. Congratulations about the new girl in your family !!! :)

Well, about the tour, let me tell you that it was totally awsome. The guide attention was great, he was such a nice person with us, always willing to give the best for us. The hotel was great, totally comfortable, and the private transportation also was good. The meals were delicious, it was the first time i ate dumplings since I arrive to China, because we didn´t know how to order, so it was wonderful. In general, i dont have any complains about the tour, because it was totally awsome. In fact, i want to book another tour for guilin ... my mother is coming to visit me on april and we really want to go there... so I´ll let you know about details as soon as I have the information!!
