6-Day Guizhou Miao Culture Tour

Tour Overview
Take the time to get to know the unique culture, handicrafts, and diverse heritage of the Miao (Hmong) people as you explore the ancient towns and the pristine mountain villages. Let their tradition and folklore enhance your journey through Guizhou.

Day 1 Arrive In Guiyang (no meals)

Meet your guide at the airport and then transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 GuiyangTo Anshun(B, L)

Full day trip to the Huangguoshu Waterfalls, the Tianxing Qiao Scenic Area and Tianlong Tunpu Old Town.

Day 3 Guiyang To KaiLi (B, L, D)

After breakfast, drive to explore the Shiqiao Miao Village and the Qingman Miao Village

- Shiqiao Miao Village: In the village you will see the traditional way of making paper from the bark of mulberry tree. This method of making paper has a history of more than one thousand years. The locals still keep it and extend to make color paper using different plants.

-Qingman Miao Village: A village with many old legged wooden houses. Here you can see the entire process of traditional Miao clothes-making or enjoy the traditional singing and dancing performances of Miao people.

Day 4KaiLi To Zhenyuan (B, L, D)

Enjoy full-day tour of the Wuyang River Scenic Area, Black Dragon Cave and Zhengyuan Ancient Town.

- Zhengyuan Acient Town: A small hidden town, we will stroll along the time-honored walk way, visit the old well and the ancient Residence of the Fu Family.

Day 5 ZhenyuanTo KaiLi (B, L, D)

Drive  to visit Shidong Ancient Town. Shidong is a very small town in Taijiang County. It is very famous for its silver ornaments-making. You will have a demonstration of silver ornaments making. It is overwhelming to see all the process.

Day 6 Kaili To Guiyang Departure (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Guiyang and then drive to the airport for your flight to next destination.
