6-Day Beijing Winter Tour

Tour Overview
Take part in the wonderful Longqingxia Gorge Ice and Snow Festival 2011! Enjoy the beautiful ice and snow sculptures, and fantastic ice lantern show. Also enjoy skiing in the Beijing top ski resort and visit the most famous tourist attractions in Beijing City.

Day 1 Beijing (B, L)
Meet your guide and transfer to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.  Check into Best Western Premier Hotel 4*

Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)
Morning, enjoy a tour of the Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City.  After lunch, proceed to visit the Qianmen Dajie and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy Beijing Hot Pot dinner. Best Western Premier Hotel 4*

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)
Visit the Badaling Great Wall and the Summer Palace. Enjoy night show (optional Beijing Opera or the Legend of Kung Fu). Best Western Premier Hotel 4*

Day 4 Beijing (B, L, D)
Have a sightseeing tour of the Beijng Hutongs (by rickshaw), the Lama Temple, and the Confucius Temple. Enjoy Beijing Roast Duck dinner and then go in the Beijing Bar Street. Best Western Premier Hotel 4*

Day 5 Beijing (B, L)
After breakfast, drive about 90km to Shijinglong Ski Resort. This ski resort has 3 trails, the central trail measures 80 meters in width, 600 meters in length and slopes with drop about 135 meters; the eastern trail is 1000 meters long and 40-100 meters wide for high-level skier. You will enjoy 2-4 hour ski at the ski resort.

After lunch, proceed to Longqingxia Gorge to enjoy the beautiful ice and snow sculptures. In the past over 20 years, the Longqingxia Ice and Snow Festival has been held annually. Many ice activities and folk performances are held there. Hundreds of ice sculptures made by both Chinese and foreign artists are exhibited there. Drive back to Beijing.  Best Western Premier Hotel 4*

Day 6 Beijing/Exit  (B)
After breakfast, be escorted to the airport for the flight to your next destination.
