Tour Overview
A fully experiential winter activity holiday packed with activities and sightseeing. Enjoy snowmobile driving, sleighing, hot air ballooning, skiing, and also a city tour in Chengdu and make an intimate contact with the adorable giant pandas in the panda base etc.. You will certainly come away knowing much more about the great outdoors and the Shu culture in Chengdu.

Day 1 Arrive in Chengdu/Mt. Xiling (D)
Meet your guide at the airport and transfer to Xiling Snow Mountain by private car (about 2 hour-drive). Take cable car up to the Ski resort and check into Azaleas Hotel (3-star).

Day 2 Mt. Xiling (B)
After breakfast enjoy some interesting activities, such as snowmobile driving, sleighing, hot air ballooning, skiing (at your own expense) etc.

Day 3 Mt. Xiling/Chengdu (B)
Morning enjoy skiing in the mountain. About 15:00 take cable car down the mountain and drive back to Chengdu. Hotel: Yinhe Dynasty Hotel (4-star)

Day 4 Chengdu (B, L, D)
Visit Chengdu Panda Base (including Panda Museum, Panda Enclosure, Panda Cub House etc.). After lunch proceed to visit Wuhou Temple and Jinli Old Street. Evening enjoy hot pot dinner, and then watch Sichuan Opera (with very wonderful Face Changing Show) at a local famous tea house.  

Day 5 Depart Chengdu (B)
Pick you up from hotel and transfer to the airport.

Note:

1.  The skiing fee is not included in the tour. You will pay the ski resort accoring to the time (as long as you like) you use their service. If you don't wear your own ski suit, you can use their rent service.

2. If you want to extend the tour around Chengdu, please make some remarks when inquire this package or customize the tour according to the A La Carte.

    hi, we're planning to go to hong kong in early December (5 ~ 10 december) stay there for 3 days and skiing in mt xiling for a couple of days. will there be enough snow for skiing during that time. Can you also please give the price quotation. thx

    we are planning to go for a 2 days stay in hongkong and 2 days in china for a winter tour on December 2012...4 adults and one child(10 yrs old)..full board meal in a economy hostel where we will stay in one room...with airfare to and fro..please need your quotation..thanks

    Hi mrs low, I'm afraid you cannot see any leftover snow around 17 to 21 Mar in Xiling Snow Mountain. The best time to enjoy snow is Dec and Jan to late Feb.
