Tour Overview
Shanghai Expo, water town with a long history more than thousand years, frightful footbinding history of the ancient Chinese women, traditional medical science, interesting local shadow puppet show, historical garden ... we will explore the authentic Chinese facts from ancient to modern times.
Meet your local guide and driver at the airport, and then transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is on your own arrangement.
Day2 Shanghai (B,L)
Visit the Shanghai old street - Chenghuang Temple business district and Yu Garden, then transfer to Xintiandi Square. Xintiandi is a famous pedestrian street composed of Shikumen (traditional Shanghai buildings) and modern architecture style.
Day3 Shanghai (B)
Full day tour for EXPO 2010 Shanghai China.
Note: Standard day ticket holders can enter the Expo area once on any day except for peak days.(Standar day: from May 1 to Oct 31, 2010, excluding May 1 to 3, October 1 to 7 and October 25 to 31).
Day4 Shanghai/Wuzhen (B,L,D)
Visit the Bund and the Nanjing Road, this is a must for visitors to Shanghai. Then transfer to Shanghai World Financial Center, where the 100th floor observatory deck provides a spectacular view of downtown Shanghai and the Huangpu River. After that, visit the Tianzifang Artistic Street. Then trasfer to Wuzhen, where you will enjoy a very beautiful night view of the water town.
Day5 Wuzhen (B,L)
Visit the Footbinding Museum, Xiangshantang Drugstore, interesting local shadow puppet show, etc.. Boating in the watertown.
- Footbinding Museum: In the museum you will know the horrible facts why most of Chinese women's feet were bound in the ancient times.
-Xiangshantang Drugstore :a traditional Chinese drug store built in the Qing dynasty.
Day6 Wuzhen/Shanghai/Departure (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Shanghai Pudong International Airport for your homeward flight.
