Tour Overview
Enjoy the beautiful natural wonders in Huangshan Mountain and visit the magnificent pavillions in 2010 Shanghai World Expo site...
Meet your local guide and driver at the airport, and then transfer to the hotel. Remainder of the day is on your own arrangement.
Day 2 Shanghai (B, L)
In the morning visit the Shanghai Museum and the Jade Buddha Temple. After lunch,proceed to the Yu Garden and the Yuyuan Market. In the evening, enjoy the wonderful Chinese acrobatics show.
Day 3 Shanghai (B)
After breakfast, full day tour the World Expo site on your own. Drive back to your hotel.
Note: Standard day ticket holders can enter the Expo area once on any day except for peak days. (Standar day: from May 1 to Oct 31, 2010, excluding May 1 to 3, October 1 to 7 and October 25 to 31).
Day 4 Shanghai / Huangshan (B, L, D)
Transfer via: Domestic flight arranged by us
After breakfast, you will walk down the Bund along the Huangpu River and visit Nanjing Road, and then get a bird's eye view of Shanghai from the Jinmao Tower. Later on, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to Huangshan. Upon your arrival at the airport, the local guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel.
Day 5 Mt. Huangshan (B, L, D)
After breakfast, drive about 80 km (1.5 hour-drive) to Mt. Huangshan and take cable car at Yungu Station to the top of the mountain. After check-in and lunch, you will view Brush Pen Peak, tour Lion Peak and Xihai Grand Canyon, enjoy the sunset glow at the Cloud Dispelling Pavilion, etc. Stay overnight at the summit.
Day 6 Huangshan/Departure(B, L)
Try to get up early in the morning to catch the magical sunrise. After breakfast, tour the Begining-to-Believe Peak to see the grotesque pinetrees. After that, take the cable car down to the foot of the Mt. Huangshan and drive back to the city of Huangshan to visit Tunxi Ancient Street and the Ink Stone Factory. Drop off at the airport.
