Getting Around

      1. If you take a train to Hangzhou, remember to follow the train station's sign to the right place if you want to take a taxi; taxi drivers do not pick up passengers except that place around train station area.

      2. Taxi fee is very reasonable in Hangzhou, and buses nearly go every corner of the city.

      3. If you go on a trip without a travel agency, and plan to visit some tourist sites around Hangzhou city, remember to go to the Huang Long (Yellow Dragon) Gym Center - the traffic hub for Hangzhou tourism.

      4. Buses that with the first number "Y" is for tourism routes specially; and there are 2 decks open roof tourist buses for West Lake sightseeing in Hangzhou.

      Better choose hotels near the West Lake Avenue, the most convenient location for traffic. It's easy to book a hotel room around here.

      Other tips for Hangzhou tour

      If got serious sick, don't forget to tell your local guide or inquire the receptionists in hotel, they will give you help or tell you how to get to the local hospital; if it's a minor one, there are many famous pharmacy stores around Hefang Street, where sell Western and Chinese medicines, and there are also doctors there.

      You can rent a bike to visit the West Lake. This is absolutely a good experience!
