Dear Cathy,

We are now again in Spain. The trip back to Spain has been good and without any problem.

We have to say that our tour in China has been very pleasant, interesting and everything has run very well and according to the program.

Guides and drivers has been not only very professional but also very kind. Only thing to remark is that in some cases the level of Spanish language has been lower than expected, even though the comunication has been always possible.

Thank you very much for your assistance. We will recomend your services to our friends when they planning travel to China.

To Charlie,

Beijing - Redwall Hotel – average, but excellent location.
Guide Vivi – very good.

Xian - HNA Hotel Downtown Xian – good hotel – great view from 16th floor room.
Guide Ranfi – very good.

Jiuzhaigou - Jiuzhai Resort Hotel – very good.
Guide Danny could not speak or understand much English. Therefore he could not understand most of our questions or communicate much information. However he was a very considerate person, helping us down slippery steps and with our daypacks.
Driver Tashi – very good and safe driver over the roughest roads of our trip in a 4 wheel drive vehicle which was a necessity

Chuanzhusi – Fuguilin Hotel – poor – bathroom floor wet and not clean – no room heating – minimal toilet paper – no tea or other drink at dinner or breakfast – there were cups in the room, but no jug or teabags – the food was poor and the dining room was cold and draughty.

Chengdu - Jiulong Hotel – good hotel with friendly staff.
Guide Mary excellent – sorted out the non-booked flight very professionally and quickly.

Lijiang - Sanhe Hotel – very nice character hotel in very good location.
Guide Li – very good and considerate.

Shaxi - Laomadian Guesthouse – excellent accommodation in an historic character building and very pleasant staff.

Dali - Landscape Hotel –good hotel in good location.
Guide Frank – knowledgable, but not a great “people” person.

Kaili Heaven-sent Dragon Hotel – excellent hotel with very good breakfast.
Guide Yang – good, but occasionally not thinking about our needs.
Driver Zhou – good driver who was also considerate of our needs. Some of the roads traveled on really required a 4 wheel drive vehicle – we became stuck several times in slippery clay, blew a tyre, and had to turn back as unable to get through one section of road.

Rongjiang - Dongixnagmi Hotel – satisfactory. Mah Jong table in bedroom made it rather cramped, otherwise OK.

Zhaoxing - Zhaoxing Hotel – very good with nice view over town.

Chengyang - Drum-tower National Guesthouse – OK except for bathroom facilities – water from basin drained over floor and leaks in bathroom roof. Meals were good.

Longi - Starwish Hotel – very nice big bedroom, good breakfast and excellent location.

Guilin - Fubo Hotel – good hotel in good location.

Yangshuo - Magnolia Hotel – good hotel in convenient location.
Guide Carol – excellent – a very intelligent and knowledgable Guide, thoughtful and considerate.

Guilin – Shenzhen – Hong Kong Need minimum 1 ½ hours between arrival in Shenzhen to time of Turbojet departure time to Hong Kong airport. Just before the exit from Shenzhen airport there is a counter for the Turbojet where they will walk you to the correct shuttle bus stop. The free shuttle bus takes 15 minutes between Shenzhen airport and the Turbojet ferry terminal. Arrival in Hong Kong is in the transit area of the airport so one cannot leave the airport for sightseeing on Lantou Island as we had planned to do.

Places we enjoyed the most.

1. Longi rice fields.
2. Middle part of boat trip on river Li to Yangshou (when it didn’t rain).
3. Lijiang.
4. Juizhaigou waterfalls.
5. Zhaoxing.
6= Chengdhu pandas.
6= Shaxi.

Conclusion.
We really enjoyed our time in China, in spite of it raining on 19 out of our 26 days, and would have no hesitation in recommending Easytourchina to any person considering a holiday in China.

thanks, we had a very nice time, although it was very cloudy and rainy.

About my comments, the staff was very nice and helpful, but it would be good to have a brochure about the trip to know the places and also to make it clear that from Chongqing to yichang you don't visit the lesser 3 gorges...anyway we had a nice time
