Trip Description: Pick up at one of the above mention hotels and drive to Shuzhou. Upon arival, visit Lingering Garden, Grand Canal, Panmen Gate and Silk Factory. After unch, transfer to Zhou Zhuang Water Town, where you will enjoy an interesting boating. Drive back to Shanghai.

Lingering Garden
One of the 4 most famous ancient private Gardens in Suzhou, it was designated as World Heritage site in 1997.

Grand Canal
The Grand Canal of China is the world's oldest and longest canal. The building of the canal began in 486 B.C. during the Wu Dynasty. It was extended during the Qi Dynasty, and later by Emperor Yangdi of Sui Dynasty during six years of furious construction from 605-610 AD. The canal is 1,795 Km long with 24 locks and some 60 bridges.

Panmen Gate
The gate is a famous historical landmark in Suzhou. It is located on the south-west corner of the Main Canal or encircling canal of Suzhou. Originally built during the Warring States Period in the state of Wu, historians estimate it to be around 2,500 years old.

Suzhou No. 1 Silk Factory
In the factory you will see how the workers produce silk with the old style machine, and the process of producing handmade silk quilt.

Zhou Zhuang Water Town
Zhou Zhuang is one of China's oldest water towns and known as the Venice of China. It has a history of more than 900 years old with many houses built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
