Trip Description: Pick up at the hotel your choice. Then enjoy a morning bus tour of Yu Garden, the Bund, Xintiandi, Former French Concession and Pearl City. After lunch, proceed to visit Jade Buddha Temple, People's Square and Shanghai Museum. Drive back to the hotel.

The Bund
Shanghai's famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period.

Xintiandi

Shanghai Hongqiao Int'l Pearl City
Many pearl vendors are located there. It is a good place to buy pearls. 

Jade Buddha Temple
Most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma.

Shanghai Museum
The museum has a collection of over 120,000 pieces, including bronze, ceramics, calligraphy, furniture, jades, ancient coins, paintings, seals, sculptures, minority art and foreign art. The Shanghai Museum houses several items of national importance, including one of three extant specimens of a "transparent" bronze mirror from the Han Dynasty.

People's Square
Shanghai People's Square is the site of Shanghai's municipal government headquarter building, and is used as the standard reference point for measurement of distance in the Shanghai municipality.
