Hi Charlie,
We have now returned to Australia after a wonderful trip through China and we are extremely pleased with the high level of service we received throughout. All of the City guides and drivers were very professional and most helpful, and delivered the sightseeing as specified in the itinerary. We completely understand the cancellation of the Hero Valley trekking was beyond your control. We still had a very fully day of sightseeing on that day in any case, and it gave us a better opportunity to explore Wolong and meet some of the local villagers which we greatly enjoyed.
All of the hotels were also of a very good standard, very clean and comfortable, and well located. The only problem we encountered was with the Wolong hotel where, because it was early in the tourist season, they had not turned on the heating in the hotel despite the cold weather. As a result the bedrooms and the restaurant were very cold. The restaurants were all of an excellent standard, with a selection of meals well suited to our Western tastes. All transport and transfer arrangements worked very smoothly, with the only exception being a 2 hour delay in Yichang-Shanghai flight. However this did not cause us any inconvenience.
Thank you for organizing such a wonderful itinerary and ensuring our experience in China will be one we will always remember and treasure. We would highly recommend the services of your company to anybody wishing to visit China.

How nice to hear from you! And I hope you enjoyed your New Year's holiday. I apologize for the delay in my responding with comments. Your personal attention to the details in planning the tour of Chengdu was very much appreciated and everything we did (the highlights being the trip to the Big Buddha and, of course, the Panda's!) went as planned. We had a delightful guide (Lulu) who was very informative and she was very accommodating in every way (recommending a restaurant for dinner and meeting us there to escort us to the theater; helping our daughter meet up with friends in Chengdu; taking us to Jinli St. as time permitted us this extra stop; and escorting us directly to the check-in counter at the airport on our departure). The driver who was with Lulu also deserves our thanks.
Again, Phoebe, thank you for your prompt (you always answered my emails quickly!) and efficient attention to helping us plan what was a memorable trip to China. As our daughter is considering remaining another year in China, we are very likely going to plan a second trip later this year and when we get closer to that time I will definitely be asking for your help with planning (I already have 'ideas' as to where we will visit on our second trip). In the meantime, I will certainly recommend China Fact Tours (and you!).

I'm back in the USA having thoroughly enjoyed my stay in China. What a wonderful country you have!
Hotels and Meals: The hotels were wonderful, the people very nice (even though they laughed at me trying to eat with chop sticks---it was pretty funny), and the food was fabulous.
Tour Guides and Driver: I would particularly like to commend two of the crews we met with: In Shanghai, Lemon and Mr. Chen were wonderful. Lemon gave us lots of information about Chinese culture, Shanghai customs, local food in Shanghai and Zhujiajiao; they even took us to a grocery store to let us have a look around and pick up some necessary items. Mr. Chen braved the two hour drive through hectic traffic from the airport to the hotel (the flight was only one and a half hours) without a complaint or frustration. In any case, through this mail we would like to let you and you're your colleagues in Fact Tours know that we had a fantastic time in China.

After the trip and the wedding this weeks we've had a lot of work, and also to return working....
The trip was really fantastic!!!! China is a very great country, and we recommend all people to go.
The organization was also fantastic.
